| April 19, 4:00-6:00 pm | Attitude Aviation - LVK | Ben Freelove has spent countless hours studying video of snap-roll techniques and has really perfected snaps. Ben’s research has involved student video all the way to putting string on Bill Stein’s Edge 540 for Red Bull to analyze airflow. He’ll be starting to do a new course that involves studying video, flying, then post flying video analysis and critique. This is going to be our first Chapter meeting available via Adobe web conference (great idea Layne!), which will also be recorded and posted to the Chapter website. There will also be a critique session at TCY from 10am-4pm, the Apple Valley contest is coming up! |

| Jan 13, 4:00 - 6:00 PM | Attitude Aviation - LVK | Howard Kirker will talk us through flying the Intermediate Known. Even if you're not planning to fly Intermediate at all this year, you'll learn a lot about energy management, and how to fly individual figures. |
| Feb 10, 4:00-6:00 pm | Attitude Aviation - LVK | Ben “Freestyle” Freelove from Tutima Academy has graciously offered to come give a presentation on “How to create a Freestyle”. As you know, many of the categories require you to fly a Freestyle for one of your flights. Chapter 38 has created one in the past, but with rule changes, it’s probably time to make one of your own, or at least know what goes into making one. Ben will also be talking about “The Collaborators” (Sean, Eric, Ben, Bill), their busy show schedule this year, and how they’re preparing for it! |

We'll talk about what to look for, what the tradeoffs are, how much you should expect to spend, and people's likes/dislikes. |
